About Us

The Clinic is run by Clodagh McLoughlin and Bernadette White who, together, have over seven years experience in physical therapies and sports injury treatments.

Bernadette studied with National School of Sports Massage, College of Complimentary Medical Education, and Clodagh studied with the Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Science, which combined allows them the unique approach to incorporate two schools of thought into their practice.

Our experience is not only clinic based, we also provide on-site support to all sporting clubs and events, such as GAA, hurling, athletics, rugby.

The clinic exists to bring non-invasive soft tissue manipulation to virtually anyone suffering somatic dysfunction via the use of physical therapies, and to address the ongoing tasks of preventing and limiting injuries. It also optimises the capabilities for the physical performance of any sports person, offering them a safe, relaxing and professional environment.

It aims at bringing awareness to the public of the body's own healing ability and how to activate this process.

As Physical Therapists, we offer a science based, hands-on therapeutic approach to minor soft tissue injury, muscular dysfunction and myofascial trigger points, including conditions such as shin splints, golfers elbow, tennis elbow, sprains/strains, low back pain, and whiplash, to name but a few.

We include advanced remedial therapy techniques such as:

  • Neuromuscular Techniques
  • Trigger Point Therapy
  • Myofascial release techniques
  • Pre and Post Event Massage

Physical therapist's skills are classed as Complementary Medical Education, and as such they will avoid treating injuries that require medical attention. Physical therapists respect the role of the Chartered Physiotherapist and sports medicine practitioner.
